• I found out that I had five fibroids, one very large 16.5cm x 13.7cm taking over my whole stomach, few smaller ones and a cyst in May 2015, when doing my research about different type of procedures and keyhole was the only procedure I wanted to get done.
  
  First consultant I have seen was at Guys Hospital, he told me there is no way, he can remove the fibroids via keyhole because it was too big and the only way was to do a vertical open cut procedure from chest down.
  
  I have already met with 8 consultants and all told me it is only possible for bikini line open cut operation or UFE but didn’t want to go ahead with any of the procedures. I was really stressed out, in February 2017, I was fed up and frustrated then scheduled to have bikini line open cut operation but my heart was not set on it, I couldn’t go ahead with the procedure and cancelled it. One consultant told me he could do keyhole operation but it is not guaranteed and it would cost me £20,000 which was just too much and I could not afford it.
  The search wasn’t over as I believed that I can get this fibroid removed via keyhole but my family and friends thought I was crazy. One day I came across the London Gynaecology website and read about Mrs and Mr Pisal and booked a consultation to see Mrs Pisal. At my appointment with Mrs Pisal she was shocked about the size of the fibroid and said Mr Pisal would be the best person to see, I went home and Mrs Pisal arranged an appointment for me to meet with Mr Pisal.
  
  I met with Mr Pisal he said yes that the fibroid is too big but there is a possibility it can be done keyhole but it is not guaranteed. I just had this confidence in him and felt like everything is going to be okay, and trusted him as he said he will push the boundaries as along it does not put my life at the risk.
  
  But first to finish with the Prostap injections I was put on and go for MRI scan after. After three of Prostap had an MRI scan showed a slight shrinkage of the fibroid but still not huge difference.
  
  At this point I had to decide which consultant I would go for the surgery, so I chose Mr Pisal and arranged everything through BUPA. Running up to the day of my surgery I had no feeling of fear because I really trusted Mr Pisal with his knowledge and experiences.
  
  The day of the surgery I made my way to the St John’s and St Elizabeth hospital and at 12:30pm was time to go the theatre to have the surgery done. Met with Mr D Ziyad, my anaesthetist was nice to me and the rest of the staff at the hospital. I woke up at 17pm, was told the surgery was a success by message from Mr Pisal.
  
  Up to the day of the surgery, I didn’t know what procedure I was getting done whether it was a bikini line open cut or keyhole operation. When I woke the nurse changed the dressing on my stomach and at this point, I just clocked that I had a keyhole done. Thank God! Thank God! I couldn’t be happier.
  
  Although I said I was ready for the removal of fibroid either way via bikini line open cut or keyhole but deep down secretly I was praying for keyhole operation because I couldn’t handle it well if it was a bikini line open cut operation.
  
  Had my operation on the 20th October 2017 and follow up appointment on the 25th October with Mr Pisal, I was back to normal health and feeling better than ever and the scars have healed and you can barely see it.
  
  I am so grateful and I cannot recommend Mr Pisal enough, also Mrs Pisal for her kindness. Also, the staff at the London Gynaecology the communication has been effortless.
  
  I will have to go for second procedure to remove the rest of the fibroids and a cyst but I am happy with that.

• I couldn’t have asked for a more compassionate, friendly yet diligent team of professionals. Mr Pisal is a true gent, he has such a determined nature and this was evident when it came to my operation I had a total of 14 fibroids, he removed them all via keyhole over a two stage procedure six weeks apart.

• Simply the best!I came to Dr Pisal when other doctors said my fibroid was too large for laparoscopic procedure, some even suggested hysterectomy or keep on growing it until the menopause (at the age of 38!).
