Mr Saurabh Phadnis is a Consultant Gynaecologist at The Royal London Hospital (Bartshealth NHS Trust), London. He completed his general gynaecology training in busy hospitals in the East of England and his subspecialty training in gynaecological oncology at Barts Gynaecological Cancer Centre.
His research included investigations into association of pregnancy related complications following treatment of precancer of cervix. He has won several prizes in national and international conferences. He was awarded the RCOG-Bernhard Baron Travelling fellowship to visit centre of excellence in Germany to expand his expertise in ovarian cancer surgery.
He is an expert in complex minimally invasive and open abdominal surgery. His particular interests include fertility preservation in gynaecological cancer, counselling and management of familial gynaecological cancer and advanced stage ovarian cancer cytoreduction surgery. He is an experienced hysteroscopic surgeon. He has more than 10 years of experience as a colposcopist and is an accredited trainer with the BSCCP.
Mr Phadnis believes in holistic and individualised approach to patient care.
Mr Phadnis is a keen cricket enthusiast and qualified ECB umpire.
Ash Alam graduated from the Medical College of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London in 1994 where he was awarded the Matthews Duncan prize in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
He trained in obstetrics and gynaecology mainly in North and East London and he has also worked in New Zealand.
Mr Alam has been a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist since 2006 and has a particular interest in the modern treatment and management options for heavy, irregular and painful periods and fibroids.
He is trained in gynaecological ultrasound and therefore for patient convenience, he is able to offer a service that includes discussion, examination, ultrasound and treatment in the same visit.
As a colposcopist he is also able to advise and treat women with abnormal smear tests. If a surgical solution is necessary, Mr Alam is trained in the full range of general gynaecological procedures, including keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery.
Mr Alam is keen to promote the use of newer procedures such as endometrial ablation for heavy periods as an alternative to hysterectomy. Some of the newer procedures can be carried out under local anaesthetic if a patient wishes not to undergo a general anaesthetic.
Mr Alam has an interest in vaginal pain/painful sex (dysparunia) and menopause care. Painful sex after the menopause is also an area of expertise and Mr Alam has lectured on this topic.
Outside work, Mr Alam is a keen triathlete and also enjoys ballroom & Latin dancing.
Miss Evans is an experienced consultant gynaecologist with a special interest in colposcopy and early gynaecological malignancies. She qualified as a consultant in 2002 at The Royal Free Hospital, and is currently the lead for colposcopy and gynaecology cancer. Miss Evans chairs the weekly gynaecology MDT meeting is also a representative at the North London Gynaecology cancer tumour board.
Miss Evans provides a range of gynaecological services including colposcopy and abnormal smear management, management of heavy periods, post-menopausal bleeding and hysteroscopy.
Miss Evans is the clinical director for Women’s Services at the Royal Free Hospital. She is passionate about delivering high quality care to all women, ensuring they are fully informed to aid them in deciding about their management options.
In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family and dog.
Rhonda Flemming is an experienced consultant having worked for over 6 years as a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician within the NHS at The Whittington Hospital and also holds the post as the Ambulatory Gynaecology lead. Ms Flemming provides gynaecological services across general gynaecological issues including fibroid management, polycystic ovarian syndrome irregularities, postmenopausal bleeding, pelvic pain and early fertility care.
Ms Flemming has specialist expertise in early pregnancy care, emergency gynaecology, hysterosocpy and advanced labour ward.
In addition to treating patients Ms Flemming is actively involved in the training of junior doctors and medical students and is married with 3 children.
Miss Wilson trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in north and east London. She has worked as a consultant gynaecologist at The Whittington Hospital since 2011 where she is ‘labour ward lead’. She provides a range of services for women including caring for those with concerns in early pregnancy, emergency gynaecology problems and longstanding conditions. She is trained in gynaecology ultrasound and laparoscopic surgery.
Miss Wilson is passionately interested in women’s experience and safety through all stages of pregnancy. She also holds the position of Royal College Workplace Behaviour Champion.
Mr Pisal is a consultant gynaecologist who has practiced gynaecology in London since 2003 working as both a private and NHS consultant at The Whittington Hospital NHS Trust, The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, The Wellington Hospital and Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. He provides a range of gynaecological services and treatments and is recognised as a leading expert in advanced laparoscopic surgery and lead for gynae-oncology.
Mr Pisal is keen to make a difference within his profession, his philosophy is to provide his patients with the best possible care at every stage of their journey, ensuring a calm and reassuring experience.
Mr Pisal is well published and currently holds a number of positions most notably being lead clinician for gynaecological cancer at The Whittington Hospital and is actively involved in teaching and training medical students and doctors in training.
In his spare time Mr Pisal enjoys running and has run marathons raising money for charities, in particular Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.

Mrs Pisal has worked as a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician for over 15 years. She currently works in the NHS as Senior Consultant at Chase Farm Hospital. Privately, Mrs Pisal sees patients at The Portland Hospital for Women and Children in Central London and the BMI King’s Oak and BMI Cavell hospitals in Enfield, North London.
Her areas of expertise include recurrent miscarriage, early pregnancy management, management of heavy periods, fibroids, pelvic pain and endometriosis and advanced hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgery including robotic surgery. Mrs Pisal also undertakes her own ultrasound scans and has expertise in gynaecological and pregnancy scanning.
Mrs Pisal is the Service Line lead for gynaecology services at Barnet Hospital.

Laura is fully certified nutritional therapist, who has worked in nutritional therapy for 7 years, she qualified at the prestigious Institute for Optimum Nutrition, which is recognised as one of the leading centres for nutritional training and education.
Laura has worked with London Gynaecology over the last year and supported our patients and their treatment plans with targeted nutritional intervention.
Laura is passionate about supporting pregnant women during her own pregnancies, noticing first hand the difference the right nutrition and supplementation plan can make. She has since treated numerous pregnant ladies with a range of pregnancy related conditions including; endometriosis, polycystic ovaries, weight management, anaemia and gestational diabetes.
Emma has worked with London Gynaecology for many years and was responsible for developing the brand identity and very first London Gynaecology website in the very beginning. Today her role extends to running the entire business and marketing of the practice, ensuring that the business operates as smoothly and efficiently as the clinical side.
Emma has 2 young children who keep her busy when she’s not at working with the team at London Gynaecology.
Marion oversees the administrative team and makes London Gynaecology happen. Marion has worked in both private and NHS healthcare across both gynaecology and maternity for over 15 years and has an excellent understanding of how women’s healthcare works.
Marion has worked for Mr and Mrs Pisal for over 10 years and is a key member of the London Gynaecology team.
Marion is a mother of two children who keep her busy and enjoys flower arranging and taking her lovely dog Ruben for walks.
Dawn is the secretary to Mrs Pisal and as assistant practice manager, together with Marion, is key in keeping the practice smooth running and ensure we deliver a seamless service to patients.
Dawn has extensive medical secretary experience spanning over the last 12 years within busy private hospitals in London.
In her spare time Dawn enjoys travelling, cooking, baking and sitting down with a cup of tea and watching CSI.
Aminah is the secretary to Miss Wilson and is often the first person patients speak to answering the busy phone line and responding to email enquiries. Aminah has a first class degree in Biomedical Science and has a natural interest in the medical field having undertaken roles at Royal London Hospital and Barkers Chemist.
Aminah enjoys keeping fit as well as travelling abroad and experiencing different cultures.
Anisa is part of the secretarial team. She is often the first point of contact for patients and provides support to the London Gynaecology consultants. Anisa has a background in private healthcare and finance, having previously undertaken roles at Bupa.
Anisa enjoys travelling around the world. She appreciates family time and loves doing activities with her little one.
Abby is part of the administrative and secretarial team and is secretary to Miss Evans. Along with Aminah, she is often the first person patients speak to on the phone and over email, and also provides support to the consultants and other practice secretaries.
Abby has a degree in Ancient History from UCL, and worked at London Gynaecology as an Admin Assistant during her third year. After spending a year teaching and travelling in China, she has returned to the team as a Junior Medical Secretary.
In her spare time, Abby enjoys playing netball, baking and travelling to and exploring different countries.
Taniya is an undergraduate BSC Psychology student at UCL. Between lectures and labs she works at London Gynaecology as an Admin Assistant.
In her spare time, Taniya enjoys singing and dancing and frequently engages in performances for friends, family and the general public.
Molly works part time at London Gynaecology providing administrative support to the evening and weekend clinics. Molly is currently studying for a Masters in Environmental Economics at UCL and in her spare time enjoys playing netball and spending time in the great outdoors.
Kim has been a PR professional for over 20 years and has big brand experience spanning healthcare, parenting, interiors and technology, working both agency side and in house.
Now, as a mum of two boys, Kim is a PR consultant and helps London Gynaecology share its knowledge and expertise to a wider audience through media.
